What’s special about the culture here? 

LodgeWorks and its predecessor entities have built a culture based on true family values and a desire to make our hotels special.  We know the high standard in which we need to keep.  Living up to these standards are easy when you consider the environment.  We are treated special, enjoy our peers, and love our work.  It is a flourishing culture that breeds success.

When you are not in the office, what do you enjoy doing most? 

My favorite activities out of the office are running to stay in shape, running an annual marathon, and hiking mountains in Colorado.  I also spend a lot of time coaching and watching my boys play various sports. 

In your life, who inspires you the most?

My dad, Virgil, is a constant inspiration.  He has taught me the value of hard work and a dedication to customer service.  By watching his example I learned that if you want to be successful there is nothing magical about it: each and every day work hard, do your best, and treat people fairly.
